None—free access, sponsor funded

It’s nonnegotiable! All funding to operate the HSe4Metrics platform must be provided by a sponsor.
But first, a funding sponsor must be found. A federal agency would be ideal.

Please don’t leave it up to HSe4Metrics alone to find a sponsor. The more of us who help in this effort, the better.

To help, YOU can do any of the five things below—just as HSe4Metrics is doing. For instance, like HSe4Metrics, YOU can contact a federal agency directly or reach out to someone who has a connection with one.

YOU can also contact the top law firms in Washington, DC, to ask for their help. And contact professional lobbying firms and ask them to help. Ask anyone you speak with to read this HSe4Metrics explainer site. Any of the law firms or lobbyists you speak with can help as “presentation teams” by asking politicians and federal agencies to also visit this HSe4Metrics explainer siteand consider sponsoring the HSe4Metrics platform innovation for K-12. Follow up with email, text, phone calls, and visits.

Ask them to work pro bono to contact federal agencies, arrange meetings between HSe4Metrics and those agencies, conduct due diligence, and help secure a federal sponsor for the HSe4Metrics platform.

Please don’t be someone who sits back and pontificates

Five ways YOU can help HSe4Metrics find a sponsor
  1. Free. Contact a federal agency directly. You can personally contact a federal agency or anyone with influence in the federal government and ask that the agency sponsor the HSe4Metrics platform.
  2. Free. Ask a politician to act. Contact a politician and ask them to review this website—at least the homepage. And ask the politician to reach out to a federal agency to become the HSe4Metrics platform sponsor.
  3. Free. Reach out to a lobbyist. Call or email one of the many lobbyists in Washington, D.C., and ask them to contact a federal agency about sponsoring the HSe4Metrics platform.
  4. Free. Contact a major law firm. Reach out to one of the top 100–200 law firms in the United States (contact vabaker@hseverywherel.com for list) and ask them to work pro bono by contacting a federal agency about sponsoring the HSe4Metrics platform pro bono. (Note: A top-60 law firm is already assisting HSe4Metrics pro bono with its conversion to a private foundation. It’s time for a second top law firm—YOU find this one–to help secure a federal sponsor for the platform.)
  5. Free. Post your efforts; tell the world!. Every email, post, and conversation helps this project reach the people who can make it happen.
NOT FREE. IF FEDERAL AGENCIES DO NOT STEP FORWARD, a short fundraising campaign may be needed
to hire a professional presentation team to reach out to agencies—the “team” would reach out to the agencies

Here’s a “$5” example of a quick fundraising solution to hire a presentation team

Thus far, no highly qualified presentation team has agreed to work entirely pro bono.

Let’s say a proposal by a professional presentation team or top law firm falls in the range of $300,000 to $700,000. Even though the proposal amount may be modest, the team may nonetheless be willing to contribute a portion of its work on a pro bono basis—thus reducing the amount of fundraising needed.

(Google may be willing to support the campaign’s advertising costs—offering up to $100,000 per month in advertising credits.) Even if most donations were only $5, widespread public donation participation and media attention could make fundraising success achievable within a short period.

TO BE CLEAR: NO FUNDRAISING IS PLANNED.
BUT WITH THE RIGHT PRESENTATION TEAM, FINDING A SPONSOR COULD HAPPEN FASTER—AND MORE EASILY—THAN ANYONE EXPECTS

Stringent conditions in the event of fundraising

All funds raised would be directed solely to the presentation team and legal support—none would be used for the HSe4Metrics platform itself.

As a 501(c)(3) private foundation (once fully certified by the SCC), HSe4Metrics would have its Board of Directors, also registered with the SCC, oversee and monitor all campaign funds to ensure their proper use.

Neither Board members nor members of HSe4Metrics would receive any compensation from campaign donations.

To ensure full transparency, the Board would provide public updates—potentially in real time—directly on the fundraising site itself.

Once a sponsor is secured and sponsorship begins, donations will have fulfilled their purpose.

From that point forward, all operational and cloud costs will be covered by the sponsor—not the public.

As outlined under Funding (By the Sponsor), operational expenses are expected to reach tens of millions, while cloud and infrastructure costs—driven by nationwide demand for the K–12 platform—could eventually rise into the billions.

Once a sponsor is in place, or if the campaign concludes without securing a sponsor, any remaining funds in the fundraising account will be managed in full compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations.

Every dollar will be fully accounted for.

If permissible, any unspent funds will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Smile Train.
