Parents and students—you can do this

Test for societal interest

What happens when you reach out to find a sponsor?
(You’ll be testing for an individual or organization with a compelling societal interest.)
Call everyone you can think of and ask them to review this website
And stretch! Also reach out to people you don’t know

 Try the categories below

Stop by their offices or call them. Ask whomever you speak with to review this website—and to please get back to you

Ask them to consider becoming the sponsor—or helping find one

The open secret: No politician, no federal agency, and no giant corporation has ever come close to fixing national K-12 student performance. But your effort to reach out might help begin that change

Go for it!
Several categories you can contact
Since no politician—and John F. Kennedy was assassinated during his K-12 efforts—has ever fixed K-12 student performance, try this:

Call politicians and ask them to personally read this HSe4Metrics explainer site

Ask them to help arrange a meeting between HSe4Metrics and a federal agency

And since no federal agency has ever fixed national K-12 student performance, try this:

In addition to asking a politician to contact a federal agency, click the Federal Agencies link and call a few agencies yourself

And since no giant corporation has ever fixed K-12 national student performance, try this:

Call one of the nation’s top corporations such as Procter & Gamble. Find the right people who might be interested in changing the success of K-12 student performance. Ask if they will read this explainer site and call you back

Explain that a national sponsor is needed—and that sponsorship may provide an opportunity for the sponsoring corporation to create a lasting legacy

Explain that the corporation could become the sole sponsor, or perhaps partner with a federal agency to co-sponsor the HSe4Metrics platform

Yet another category is the media

Although the media has made heroic efforts to warn America about “extreme failures” in K–12 student performance, progress has remained stagnant and marginal—a condition that Jamie Dimon might describe as both scandalous and incremental

Contact media organizations and ask them to review this explainer site

Alternative path

HSe4Metrics could launch a fundraising campaign. The purpose of the campaign would be to retain a professional presentation team—primarily lobbyists. The team would help contact federal agencies, Congress, and major corporations

Lobbyists are optimistic that they can be successful, but are unable to work pro bono.
