Hello everyone!  Launch the HSe web app.  Give me two minutes to highlight four of the most urgent reasons.

First, there’s the once-in-a-lifetime period of brain development that occurs during infancy and the years before kindergarten. Active brain change is profound, but science is still seeking answers. For example, how do external stimuli affect characteristics such as intellectual energy capacity?  Does the type of stimuli matter?  Joining with parents, the holistic HSe web app will light up the brain of these youngest of the young.

Second, without the HSe web app process, backed by hard-number accountability, half of all high school graduates in the U.S. each year fail to reach even the lowest level of proficiency on the Nation’s Report Card.  Graduating, but as compromised graduates, they are quickly blindsided by a brutal surprise:  the challenge to ward off a lifetime of socioeconomic inequality and inequity.

Third, there’s the top 10 percent of students. Even though this top decile seems to be doing fine, the young people in it may be missing a world of wonder unique to each of them individually.  Key to deeper levels of latent intellectual energy and promise within themselves, this top decile and every other will have the HSe web app.

Fourth, there are the students in the middle.  These are the ones who test above the bottom half but not in the top 10 percent.  Whereas the bottom half and the top 10 percent may seem to be filled with helpful programs and attention, students in the middle may feel that they are in a forgotten place. For the HSe web app, the reality is that the middle, much like the bottom half and the top 10 percent, is a goldmine of extraordinary intellectual energy, ability, and creativity.

That’s it for the first four reasons. But let me add this, no matter how well a school system and its heroic teachers may be in providing education, there is more to the equation.  Specifically, parents and students must perform their parts of the bargain; this further explains why the HSe web app was developed. In addition to young people, the web app will help parents of every socioeconomic background in the area of parent-student support.
